As the name suggests, scenarios (or use case descriptions) describe the use cases that were identified. As use cases do not inherently do so, the role of these scenarios are to describe the high-level functionality of each individual use case. High-level being the obvious flow of events; you do not need to state exactly how you are performing each action.
